This week marked the 20th anniversary of the murder of prominent Kremlin critic, Anna Politkovskaya. She was shot dead outside her Moscow home in 2006. Politkovskaya had reported fearlessly on the war in Chechnya and the rise of Putin, warning of his authoritarian tendencies at a time when he was being welcomed and courted in the West. The Weekend's Paul Henley spoke to Anna's daughter, Vera Politkovskaya, and Sergey Sokolov, editor-in-chief of Novaya Gazeta, a newspaper Anna worked for, and the last person to edit Anna's work 20 years ago.
