Parent Support Link in Southampton are finalists in the Community Group category in the BBC Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards for 2026. The charity supports the often-unseen victims of addiction: the parents, partners, children and loved ones who are trying to cope with the impact of someone else’s alcohol or drug use. BBC Radio Solent's Alun Newman has been to meet them.
