Actor Jason Flemyng: ‘I proposed in Richmond Park…on a tree’

Jason Flemyng was born in 1966 in Putney, and is the son of Scottish film director Gordon Flemyng. He trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and later joined the Royal Shakespeare Company. But he’s best known for working with filmakers Guy Ritchie and Matthew Vaughn, appearing in the Ritchie films Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch - both produced by Vaughn - and also starring in Vaughn's film Layer Cake. Robert Elms spoke to Jason in 2013, shortly after he was in the romcom I Give It a Year.
