Monica Dolan is a BAFTA and Olivier award winning actor, best known know for her roles in W1A, Mr Bates Vs the Post Office, and for playing the serial killer Rosemary West. Born in 1969, Monica was the youngest of four children and was brought up in Woking by Irish parents. She trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Alongside her many roles in TV, stage and screen, Monica has also written and performed an award winning one woman play B*easts, which was on around the time I spoke to her, back in 2018. Robert Elms found out about Monica Dolan’s favourite haunts, memories, pet hates and everything in between in 2018.
