Nicola Ayrton-Guest is the Director of the Household Cavalry Museum located on Horse Guards Parade. Originally a history graduate, she’s had a string of jobs in military organisations - including the Imperial War Museum, National Army Museum, and Bletchley Park. She even had a job at the Household Cavalry at the start of her career, before returning as it’s Director. Nicola is a lifelong Londoner and the daughter of a London bus driver. She grew up in Chingford. Robert Elms found out about Nicola Ayrton-Guest’s favourite haunts, memories, pet hates and everything in between.
