A fire engine crashed in to restaurant in Sidbury on 25 April 2026. Two people suffered serious injuries whilst a third suffered minor injuries. A firefighter has been arrested. West Mercia Police said a man in his thirties was arrested on causing serious injury by careless driving and has been released under investigation. Restaurant owner Tano Cinao tells Lindsey Alder how he saw the incident before his very eyes and that he was 'very proud' of his staff for how they reacted. The BBC has contacted Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service for comment.
