Naturalist Chris Sperring tries to get close to some of Britain's native wildlife as it goes about its business. Combining his in-depth knowledge of the behaviour and senses of the animals, following with his sensitive tracking skills, Chris is able to be part of these animals' activities without them even knowing he is there. He begins in hot pursuit of some winter birds. Flocks of Starlings are massing above the reedbeds of the Somerset levels before descending at dusk to roost.
