Steve Cropper is one of the guitar greats. Making his name as guitarist for Stax Records house band, Booker T and the MG's, he went on to make classic records with the likes of Otis Redding and Eddie Floyd, before leaving Stax in the early 70s. He then worked with Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart, John Prine and Ringo Starr to name but a few, as well as being an integral part of the Blues Brothers band. Steve died last year and had so many high profile fans, one being Brian May. Brian recorded a track with Steve before he died and the track has now been included on a posthumous album release, which also includes the likes of Billy Gibbons and Eric Clapton.
