Jamz celebrates Notting Hill Carnival turning 60 this year and Saxon Sound turning 50 - with the sound system from her own corner of South London. Saxon co-founder Lloyd "Musclehead" Francis joins her alongside Allan Brando, taking it from Lewisham in 1976, through the lovers rock years, to the 'fast chat' era that made Saxon an academy for Maxi Priest, Smiley Culture, Tippa Irie and Papa Levi - and on to 1994, when they became the first UK sound to win the World Clash. Plus, DJ Flight and VXRGO close out our month of Power & Respect sets from the day Jamz curated with V&A East for The Music Is Black, and speak on Black British music, the women who paved the way for them, and what they each bring to a back to back.
