Dreaming big… with Jamz Supernova

DJ, broadcaster, label head and tastemaker Jamz Supernova takes over the dream realms, playing music to ease the mind, soothe the soul, and open portals to new dimensions. Jamz returns for another week of dreamy selections, with a show filled with hot and heavy selections, from the Brazilian jazz of Flora Purim to deep dub cuts courtesy of Mad Professor. There’ll be spiritual saxophone sounds from South Africa’s Linda Sikhakhane, hazy electronic rhythms from France’s Bamao Yendé and dramatic vocals from Colombia’s Lido Pimienta. Plus some spiritual jazz from Chicago, originally composed for a planetarium, from composer and astronomer Kelan Phil Cohran, and of course as always a Dreambience mix filled with ethereal selections. Also, we travel down the Portal with duendita, an artist from Queens, New York, creating sentimental soul sounds with a reverence for ancestry, community and faith.
