Pet Flea Treatments and Superfake Watches

You and Yours

Available for over a year

Millions of pet owners routinely give their dogs and cats treatments treatments to prevent parasite infections. But scientists are warning these toxic chemicals are having a damaging effect on the environment. The House of Lords environment committee has been looking at this - it says the treatments should be banned from general sale, and only used when really necessary. We'll ask the committee's chairman if that will be enough to mitigate the impact on our rivers. Also today - we'll ask the police what they're doing about a new generation of 'super fake' watches that are almost impossible to spot. We'll find out how advertisers have responded to the recent ban on junk food ads - what's been getting through? And how criminals hijacked a listener's computer to steal money using a fake banking website. PRESENTER: WINIFRED ROBINSON PRODUCER: TOM MOSELEY
