Musician, sound designer and Gaelic speaker Rob MacNeacail joins film-maker Jack Archer to discuss Sailm nan Daoine (Psalms of the People), a new documentary exploring the ancient tradition of Gaelic psalm singing. Part road movie, part meditation on language, music and belonging, the film follows Rob's journey across Scotland and Ireland as he reconnects with his Gaelic roots and examines how communities keep culture alive through song. Sailm nan Daoine (Psalms of the People) was released in UK and Irish cinemas in May 2026 and is currently touring independent cinemas across the UK and Ireland. Natalie Wildgoose is a North Yorkshire and London-based singer-songwriter whose music is deeply rooted in landscape, memory and place. She joins us to discuss Rural Hours, her latest EP, which was recorded in remote corners of the Yorkshire Dales using found pianos, historic buildings and the sounds of the natural world as part of the creative process.
