The Phone In

Available for 29 days

A brand-new report says Welsh prisons are overcrowded, understaffed, and unsuitable for rehabilitation. The report, which has been published this morning by MPs on the Welsh Affairs Committee, says the system is struggling and that's affecting the rehabilitation of prisoners in Wales. Should we imprison fewer criminals? New RAC research shows more drivers now admit to using handheld phones to browse, text or post on social media than at any time since 2018. Some of the worst habits drivers have admitted to, was taking photos, checking notifications and even watching videos. So, what have you seen happen behind the wheel? Are distracted drivers becoming more common? And finally, tell us about the music that is synonymous with your community? Tafwyl will celebrate a special milestone this year as it marks 20 years since the festival was established. The evening will bring together some of Wales’ leading artists to perform a special musical journey acknowledging Cardiff’s contribution to Welsh music over the decades. So, what are your local contributions to music? Call or WhatsApp 03700 100 110 or Text 8 10 12. Be part of the nation's conversation.
