AfternoonsAvailable for 29 days
Dirty Dancing In Concert will be coming to Edinburgh's Usher Hall and the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall next week, which will see the iconic romance drama featuring Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze played out on a cinema-size HD screen whilst a live band and vocalists perform the score live in sync. Scottish lead vocalist Erin Caldwell joins Len to chat about the joys of performing audience favourites such as (I've Had) The Time of My Life and Hungry Eyes. Author Sara Sheridan talks about her new novel, The Jewel Keepers. And the search has begun for the first ever Shetland Scriever! This year-long residency gives the successful writer in Shetland the chance to develop new work rooted in their own region and to support other speakers in the community. Martha Burns Findlay from the National Library of Scotland tells Len more.
