Attacks on Jewish people in the UK have now become "the biggest national security emergency" since 2017. So says Jonathan Hall KC, the UK Government's independent reviewer of terrorism and state threats legislation. Two Jewish men were stabbed in north London yesterday, in what has been declared a terrorist incident by police. We want to hear your thoughts on the attack, which is the latest in a series of recent incidents targeting the Jewish community. Will you stop mowing your lawn during the month of May? Approximately 97% of flower-rich meadows have been lost since the 1930s, and with them, vital food and habitat needed by wildlife. That’s according to the ‘No Mow May’ campaign, which says that longer grass and wildflowers help tackle pollution, as well as benefiting the natural world. And please get in touch if you’ve had a haunted house experience. Those ghostly creeks and moans you might hear when exploring an old building may well be down to infrasound. A recent scientific study has concluded that vibrations caused by old plumbing or boilers create sound waves. When your body gets hit by these waves, it can immediately detect them and, potentially, interpret them as being otherworldly. Call or WhatsApp 03700 100 110 or Text 8 10 12. Be part of the nation's conversation.
