Available for 29 days

Helen Mark MBE presents BBC Radio Ulster’s weekly Ulster-Scots magazine this week alongside Rab Lennox, Jonnie Crawford and Willie Hill. This week, Rab heads to St George's Market to meet Grahame Harris and find out about the first official Belfast tartan and the thinking behind its unique design. Helen takes the tartan chat to Newtownhamilton Primary School where students are learning about their own family designs. Jonnie sits down with young Ballymoney singer songwriter Jordan Connor to chat about his debut single, the influence of his faith on his music - and how he ended up performing onstage at the SSE Arena! Finally, Rab encourages pipes to get their diaries out for a conversation about the upcoming season with The Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association Northern Ireland Branch chairperson Andrew Graham. As always, listeners are invited to contact the programme with a good Ulster-Scots yarn or event to talk about. The easiest way to do that is by email – helen.mark@bbc.co.uk
