Born to be... Marty Wilde!

Sunday with Anna Curran

Available for 29 days

You mightn't know the name Reg Smith. Well, that's because he's far better known as Marty Wilde, one of the first British pop stars to emulate American rock and roll. His song 'A Teenager In Love' was a huge hit and he went on to write and co write for others including 'Kids in America' for his popstar daughter Kim Wilde Marty joins Anna to talk about his incredible career, Elvis and why eight decades on he still loves the thrill of performing on stage. Broadway leading lady Rachel Tucker knows all about performing in front of live audiences, having risen to fame alongside Oscar winner Jessie Buckley on TV talent show "I'd Do Anything". Rachel has gone on to play the lead in 'Wicked' in the West End and Broadway and, most recently, joined the cast of 'Into the Woods'. She joins Anna ahead of her 'The Greatest Show Gal' concert in Belfast next weekend. Plus Anna invites listeners to help choose classic tracks for the Sunday songbook
