Adrian Laing talks to Penny Junor about life with his father, the psychoanalyst, RD Laing. It was the publication of "The Divided Self" in 1960 which turned mainstream psychiatry on its head. RD Laing was challenging the established order and it became known informally as the "anti-psychiatry" book. Series looking at families and relationships.
