Tickets for the Glastonbury Festival sold out in record time on the morning of Sunday 3 April 2005. If you missed out, don't worry: bbc.co.uk/somerset will be at Worthy Farm again, along with BBC TV, Radio 1 and 6 Music.

The BBC is not responsible for the content of external websites

The bbc.co.uk/somerset team will be out and about at Worthy Farm to bring you the sights and sounds of what's happening away from the stages.

Meanwhile, BBC Radio 1 will have live tracks, guests and more from backstage. BBC TWO, BBC THREE and BBC 6 Music will also have shows packed with live sets.

Not only that, the techies at BBCi will be bringing you more interactive goodies, so don't forget to press red during the festival.

All that means that, if you didn't get a ticket, you can still enjoy the festival from home!

Everything below was published for your information before the tickets sold out.

How do I get tickets?

Tickets went on sale at 9am on Sunday 3 April 2005.

Weekend tickets cost £125 plus £4 booking fee and £4 postage and packing - a total of £133.

Car parking tickets cost £5, while campervan or caravan tickets are £45. These must be booked in advance.

Tickets are available from:

- Aloud.com (click the link above)
- By phone: 0870 165 2005

The festival organisers are also urging people not to buy tickets from touts or those being offered for sale on auction sites.

A statement on the Glastonbury Festival website says: "Anyone now offering tickets for sale is utterly bogus. Do not purchase tickets from unofficial sources.

"This is not permitted under the tickets' terms and conditions - you may lose your money and will not gain entry to the festival."

What else do I need to know?

Michael Eavis
Michael Eavis has said there'll be no Glasto 2006

It is expected that demand for tickets will be very high, and there are strict rules on their sale.

There is a queuing system on the telephone booking line, and you will be charged at the national call rate while you wait your turn.

If tickets sell as quickly as in 2004, it is expected that the majority will be sold online, so that is likely to be your best bet!

If you are successful at buying a ticket online, you will be e-mailed with a reference number to confirm your online purchase.

No credit cards

Payment can only be made by debit cards (Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Switch/Maestro Domestic and Solo), postal orders or bankers drafts. Credit cards and personal cheques will not be accepted.

You can only buy two tickets per person and a maximum of two per transaction. You will have to give the name and full address of people who will be using the tickets.

Photo ID cards

Both people will be asked show photo ID proving their name and address when they enter the festival site. This ID must be a new photo card driving licence or a government-approved photo ID bearing the PASS hologram, such as a CitizenCard.

You can apply for a free CitizenCard online by following the link at the top of the page.

Passports are acceptable; however Festival organisers advise against bringing them to Glasto - the CitizenCard is the preferable form of ID.

How do I get a refund on my tickets?

The Other Stage
The Other Stage at Glastonbury 2004

You will not be able to get a refund once the tickets have been printed. Also, once your purchase of tickets is confirmed, you cannot can change the names on them.

Ticket orders can be cancelled and the ticket price refunded until 6pm on 13 May 2005. Telephone 0870 120 0332 to cancel your ticket. Tickets cannot be transferred to another name.

When will I get my tickets through the post?

Each ticket transaction will be checked before tickets are mailed out and duplicates will be declined.

Tickets will be sent via secure mail to the addresses specified when they were bought, and a signature will be required on delivery.

Tickets will be dispatched over a two-week period starting on 1 June.

If you do not have ticket, please do not try to enter the festival site!

I live near Pilton. How can I get one of the special tickets ONLY for local people?

Michael Eavis has reserved a limited number of Glastonbury tickets ONLY for residents of the Mendip District Council area in Somerset.

Details of how to apply for these tickets ONLY for local residents will be advertised in local newspapers.

I live overseas. How do I get a ticket?

Overseas ticket sales will be handled differently from UK ticket sales.

If you are permanently living abroad, you can only buy tickets online (using the link above), or by telephoning +44 115 993 4163 and using a credit card.

Please note that no UK ticket sales will be accepted on the overseas phone line. Eire is treated as overseas for the purpose of ticket sales.

Where can I get more help and advice?

The BBC is not connected to the sale of tickets and is unable to help with any problems. Please contact the ticket agency direct on 0870 120 0332.

You can also find more information on the official Glastonbury Festival website - follow the link at the top of the page.

Please note that all details are subject to change without notice. This event is not organised by the BBC, and we are providing details of ticket agents for information purposes only.

The BBC does not control ticketing. Please contact the ticket agents directly, if you have any queries.

what why will there be no glastonbury festival next year? it was so good i really want to go again i loved !!!!!!!!

jonny hill
i loved it at glastonbury i thought it was great my family loved it

Mr Leigh Sturton
I have paid for a ticket to glastonbury festival every year that it has been held since 1985, since the second year of the new security, I have been unable to get tickets. ther should be a better way of selling tickets, so that loyal festival goers that have paid their way through out the recent history of the festival should be able to get tickets

luc y Hardy
I got tickets for the last four years,by chance and this year. The last year i can go, i was on the computer and phone for hours but i just couldn't get through! :(

Kev, Liverpool
i got a ticket this year, it will be my seventh year, i just want all those people to know, i do realy feel for them, i didnt get a ticket last year and i was mortified! espeacialy if you have been going as long as some people. im sure Mr Eavis would like everyone to if he has the space and help to go with it. And it realy anoys me when you hear people slating the system down, when they are doing the best they can. he deserves better, without him and his crew we would have nothing at all. thanks to all those involved. hip hip horay!!

Bogus london
Its sad to see so many disapointed people... yeah im one too. i'll probably be 50 years old by the time i get to go.. lets hope for a resale.

emma, leeds
I was ready at 8 o'clock sunday 3rd may with my phone and computer. At approx 9.15 had the ticket page up and was typing in my details, only to have 'error on page' message constantly in the bottom right corner of my browser every time I 'clicked to submit' and after typing my details over and over, after daringly refreshing the page I lost the page and could not get back in. I did not get through on the phone either. It was to be my first festival. All the rest of my group (6 others) got there tickets except me. I feel cheated!!! I am hoping and praying now that there is a resale of cancalled tickets.

CosmiCNige
Help, i'm a glasto vigin, think i got the last ticket of the website, 10mins after i got up was listening to everyone moaning on the radio so switched my super computer on and asked for two tickets it told me there was not enought so I asked for one and I recieved, so will be going alone, any nice girls wanna share my tent? Now what i need to know is what should i take and what shouldn't i take?

Irate
Buying tickets this year was an even bigger joke than last year. If its not sorted in 2007, I'm done with the festival for good. For every 2 people that have good things to say about getting tickets, there are at least 50 who've had a bad experience. Where's the justice in that? I had the landlines, the mobiles and the computers ready for lift off at 08.59am on the day and still no joy. At this rate, i'd have more luck being the only person to win the jackpot on the lottery. What a joke.

Ash
Trying to get tickets last year was a killer, but I managed to get them only because of my girlfriend's dogged determination not to give up - she spent so much time on the phone at work, she could have got sacked! It was only because the lawyer she worked for (who also desperately wanted tickets) emailed her a link of the order page that she was able to get tickets by sheer luck. I thought that was bad, but trying to get tickets this year has to go into the Guiness Book of Records! This is the first time since the 1990 that I have not been able to get tickets. I very clearly remember the days when I could turn up at a shop somewhere two weeks prior to the start of the festival and get tickets. Like Wimbledon, a lottery system is fairer and at least that way you would not have the large amount of disgruntled people still phoning the ticket line over 2 weeks later in the hope of getting resales (despite the 'No cancellation list and no resales' note posted on the festival website). No need - and totally unfair to the very people who give the festival its great atmoshphere.

Sharon Lowe
I went to Glastonbury for the first time last year and absolutely loved it. It was made even more special by the fact that my soon to be husband was absolutely convinced I could not do without a 5 star hotel, sand and constant sun! I managed to twist BOTH my ankles and still I enjoyed the festival without complaint. Naturally, I really wanted to go again this year, but I'm extremely disappointed that I got as far as the ordering page and clicked on the button to order and received an error message. This happened several times and with my partner constantly hitting the redial button on the phone, I feel that the way in which tickets are sold is very unfair. Come on Michael, PLEASE have resales!

ANDREW HOBBS
I HAVE BEEN GOINGTO GLAST SINCE 1983 AND IT IS MY ONLY PASSION IN LIFE I LOVE IT COULDN'T GET A TICKET THIS YEAR I CANT SEE HOW EAVIS CAN SAY THE INTERNET IS THE FAIREST WAY OF BYINGTICKETS WHATABOUT ALL THE NEW AGE TRAVELLERS WHO DONT HAVE COMPUTORS AND THE HIPPIES PEOPLE LIKETHAT MADE THE FESTIVAL THERE HAS TO BE ANOTHER FAIRER WAY

Hels
I have lived in Somerset all my life and have not been able to go to Glastonbury festival until this year.I knew I would have to act quickly if I wanted a ticket- I tried for 3 hrs on Sunday 3rd April, phoning constantly- I didn't get through once. I was also on the website and managed to get through to the application form several times but when I tried to submit the details I was told there was an "error on the page" and they were not accepted. I was devastated to have tried so hard and had no success. Absolute rubbish.

Steve
Glasto Virgin and looking forward to it! Bought mine on the internet after only 7 minutes, so got no complaints about aloud.com at all. BRING IT ON!!

Jimmy the Perv
No tickets for me - first time since '99 and the non event '01. However instead of the Classic Rock legends headlining last year, we have Kylie to look forward to. Suddenly watching from my front room doesnt seem so bad. Mr Eavis why by a combination of a poor lineup (with some exceptions) and bad ticket sales techniques have you ruined what, for all who attend, is the highlight of the summer. In 2007 please sell tickets through several outlets and book up some credible bands.

Bergeroo
Do all the local people who are complaining realuse that Mikey Eavis actually reserves several thousand tickets for people who live close to Pilton! Not sure how you get them though........

Annoyed
Don't talk to me about glasto tickets either...

MATT MARTIN
NO TICKET YET AGAIN.. BLAME RADIO 1 AGAIN.. MAKE JO WHILEY PHONE FOR HER TICKET.......

mikey
ive been trying to buy a ticket for glasto for last 3 years to no avail! IVE SPENT HOURS ON THE INTERNET AND PHONE LINES each year and am most disappointed! is it unfair that i cannot go or just unlucky?

Houchen
Don't talk to me about Glasonbury tickets...

Alan Westbury Wilts
Had three computers on the go (phone lines were a joke) took me 22 hours last year but only half an hour this year (9:30 got tickets) well impressed well done the Eavis Team ....lookin forward to it. P.S must be my looky year also got REM and U2 tickets for this summer:-)

Esmé
All I wish is that you could buy four tickets at a time and not only 2. Who wants to go to a festival with one other person? With all the extra ID measures, it wouldn't make any difference. Now there are 2 of us with tickets and 2 without and a massive dilemma! Too stressful.

Natalie
well annoyed my mate only got a ticket because I was going and now they are going on their own. I rang 2 phones at once and was on the internet at the same time FOR 5 HOURS. What can I do??? They do not want to go on their own. SOMEONE HELP

Happy Liz
No joy on the phone after 25 tries but yipee got through online and helped our usual camping crowd get theirs using the same pages. Noone disappointed and all done by 10.30 Evidently I'm owed a few pints from the cider bus!

Dave, Leeds
2005 - Absolutely scandelous!! Had 5 people phonong non stop for 4 hours, was online and filled out the debit card details only to click the buy tickets button and nothing to happen. Got through on the phone to some computer game type music for 2 hours until it cut me off. Was i in a que?? I'll never know!. Forget Glastonbury, never going to try go again. 2 years now i've been sold down the river!

Dave
This is the first yr i have attempted to buy glasto tickets and it seems like i was one of the lucky ones got through at 930 and bought 2 tickets for me and my mate got a confirmation email bout 430 im so excited.

Leo Lyons
People moaning about needing a fast computer and/or connection just don't understand the technology. It is just a matter of luck whether your request hits the site when there is capacity. I have been to every festival but two since 1979 but this sort of dedication and faithfulness counts for nothing now! Still it is hard to think of a fairer system. Mind you if they keep booking acts like Kylie the number of people wanting to go will drop and the problem will be solved. Oh and with a five year old PC and a slow 64K connection I got tickets within about 15 minutes.

Jamsam
i wasnt expecting to get a ticket, but out of sheer desperation i stayed on the phone for over 3 hours. as my computer wasnt fast enough to get me into aloud, i resorted to the phone. the call waiting system failed on several occasions and when i reported the faults back to the glastonbury team so they could be aware in the futeure i was sent a "you are not the only complaint" email. im not happy with their attitude so im off to do something else this summer, like help raise funds for one of the smaller charities that find it hard at glastonbury. if you got a ticket, well done and have fun, but please visit the smaller areas all over the site! Jamsam

Sparky
We tried from 9 till they were sold out; Didn't get through once on the phone and we got to the booking page several times on the interent but it wouldnt submit. Absolutely gutted. Kylie shouldn't be playing there anyway!

Claire
Yet again I am very disappointed - I've been going to Glasto for years but couldn't go last year as I couldn't get through and the same again this year. I really dont see the problem with people buying tickets and then selling them on. If someone is prepared to pay over the odds for a ticket then thats their choice. None of the other festivals seem to have these problems. I wouldn't mind but Im a cider drinking somerset girl and only live 5 mins down the road. Locals should surely get some sort of priveledges! Gutted - again!!!

Ally
I tried at 9 on the dot but nothing my brother on one computer me on the phone and the other computer. Was in a bad mood went and had a bath came back got straight onto the page filled out everything correctly but it wouldn't accept my address for posting, why? How can a computer tell me my address is wrong. Its not! Very upset but everyone going party hard for me and had the most amazing time last year. Is more than a festival its like a new world.

Phil
2003 - Just happened to log on, gave it a go, all very easy. Came in to work next day and was surprised to hear they were all gone. Counted myself lucky and went for the first time, had a magic festival. 2004 - Karma came back to bite me, as I spent c.8 hours rekreying and refreshing screens awaiting the magic confirmation screen. Got tickets, anbd counted myself lucky. 2005 - Was prepared for the worst, and mortified the sale began the same day as a big football match I had to play in. Was therefore delighted to see my confirmation screen by 9.10am. I know I've been dead lucky, I know I won't bother trying to ever use the 'phones (and I used to work for BT). Congrats to the lucky others, commiseration to everyone else. Local residents, bear in mind there's a local lottery you can put in for (trying to ring Michael won't do it!). Hope to see you there!

Smiley
We managed to get through twice at 10.40 online to get 4 tickets then they said they'd sold out - then rang up the international line to buy one for my friend in spain only to be told that that was the UK line and needed a debit card not a credit card - no problem, but i read the number out to him (0115) and he confirmed it was the uk one - bought one on the debit card instead. why was this?

wendy
Last year i spent 24 hrs on the internet and had 2 phones on permanant re-dial only to find out i'd bought a ticket at midnight !!(but no confirmation e-mail) This year i was back in bed by 9.35 am with that lovely e-mail congratulating me on buying 2 tickets, so personally i'd say this year's system was EXCELLENT !!..see you all there!!

Tom Honeyfield
I don't understand what is happening over the last few years with festival tickets. I'm talking about the speed at which they sell has become ridiculous. What has happened? A few years ago the tickets for a festival like Reading would be available well into May. Then suddenly, almost like a complete collapse, the tickets have suddenly been mysteriously selling at the speed of light. Three days this year? What next year? The same predicament as Glastonbury? Will the tickets sell out in an hour? Is the future of festival ticket purchasing going to end up being a live TV event where everyone has their hands on a buzzer and as soon as the TV presenter says GO! everybody slams thier hands down on a button and if it turns green, congratulations, you managed to order a ticket in the 0.25 seconds that they sold in. It's crazy, and just to top it off, the price of Reading Festival has gone from £80 to £140 in just 3 years, that's disgraceful. One of the best things about visiting festivals was meeting people who decided to go on impulse because they'd never been before. Congratulations to all those who got tickets for Glastonbury though, i'm going to reading lol.

Irene
Absolutely gutted as all 12 of my friends who wanted to go got tickets except me. Guess I'll have to be the one taping the highlights and watching out for them on the telly, eh.

*Louise*
I'll be at Glastonbury with bells on. By 4 minutes past nine I'd got my tickets, broadband is the way to go!

Leah
Cannot believe I got tickets and so did all my mates. Thought it would be impossible. My first ever Glastonbury and have wanted to go ever since I was a child!!!!! Thank you for getting it all sorted!!

steve
got through about 10.30 and completed the form and got confirmation on the webpage. Still no e-mail confirmation though. They don`t make it easy for you do they..

Rob Thomas
I came into work at 8:30am to take full advantage of my companys state-of-the-art hardware and powerful Internet connection. I was prepared to sit here all day long but to my surprise I got through after 5 minutes. I was home and back in bed by 10am. Lovely!

Donna
It was a nightmare getting through, and after trying for hours on 3 computers and on the phone we got through - only to find out that none of our friends managed to get tickets.

Dan Morfey
Yeah baby! I booked my tickets online yesterday (phone was no good) taking an hour and am now going to the best festival around! I can't wait!

Pete Hodgson
My girlfriend and I were the only people of at least ten others to get tickets. We used a very powerful Mac, and kept refreshing 4 browser windows constantly - and it still took an hour to get through! Ordering by phone? No chance of getting through, we had 4 phones on the go and we never got through once.

Claudia
Well, it would seem to me that this system rewards people well off enough to have fast internet connections as myself and my friend both sat at our computers for 24 hours last year and 2 1/2 hours this year and failed to get tickets both times. My friend has been going to Glastonbury since it began, but I haven't been that lucky and have only ever been once. Needless to say, we are really hacked off. A system whereby people who got tickets one year can't do so the following year might be fairer so that everyone has a chance.

Rob - Somerset
I managed to get some tickets 15 minutes after they went on sale, by booking online. One of the major causes of the huge demand is partially the fault of the BBC. Every news bulletin on Radio 1 on Friday said: 'don't forget to get your Glastonbury tickets this Sunday, 9am...'. In the good old days, you could buy a ticket 2-3 weeks after they went on sale. Shame on you, BBC!!

Alex
This would have been my first time a glastonbury..i got on the internet at 9.00am as well as the phones the phone kept saying "the number you have called is busy"...didnt get through to the ordering form untill 9.40am entered my details and it wouldnt submit .....tried untill 10.45am only to be told not enough tickets left.....i was soooooo gutted..so much for a better system this year..the phone still said the same thing untill 4.00pm...i dont think its fair on the people who have never been to glastonbury before.

Asha
We tried so hard and obviously it's complete luck. Three phones and a computer from 9am right up to the moment they sold out - and beyond. It's a shame as this may be the last opportunity my overseas partner had to go. Well done to all you people who got them - have a great time.

Caroline Tapfield
Very disappointed. Wanted to buy a ticket for my son's birthday, but couldn't get through, then all sold out. We live in Glastonbury too! Why aren't a couple of thousand tickets held back for locals, we put up with all the inconvenience on the roads, queues everywhere, mud, etc?

Michael Davenport
Didn't get a ticket this year. Everyone I know did. Last year was one of the best experiences of my life. This year I'll be stuck at home. Devastated.

Tim Holland
Got through on the net at 10.30, completed the form, got a web page confirmation but still no confirm email. I suppose 12 hours is at least 4 hours, bt whats happening????

Edd
Cant believe it!!up since 8.30 and constantly phoning and trying the website and it never worked, only 2 of about 50 people i know managed to get anywhere with this system, i live in street, 2 miles from the site and i cant even go!!what a disgrace they should sell to locals before making a national allocation.

Jay Davies
first year of trying to get tickets:quite impressed as i got tickets on the net (phone was a waste of time)at about 10:15, after trying since 8:30 (took my mate 6 hours last year).it took 8 hours for the confirmation email to come through, so was bitting my nails all day.after checking this web-site, even more surprised that i got tickets, seeing so many people not get them, and i dont even have broadband. roll on june!!!!

Cam
Second year in a row; on the stroke of 9am with two phones calling and broadband repeated hits constantly for three hours, we could not get through. What happended to the so called queuing system? very upset again!

tpb
after last years travesty, where we managed to get tickets through a dodgy link at 10am after trying thro the night, we were pleasantly surprised that we were all done and dusted by 9.10!! my mates and i thought there was a definite improvement from last year - good call mr. eavis!!

Cam
At the stroke of 9am we were calling on two phones and constantly refreshing the webpage, unfortunately we could not get through, much like our 2004 experience.

*Allie* somerset* 10 mins away!!
i live 10mins away 2nd yr i aint gt a ticket igt a local last year,,,,its fustrating the system should be how it was in 2003 it was easier!!!!!

Vicky - Bristol
I have just gone through the proverbial "having kittens". Managed to book my tickets by 9:20 GREAT! But when I called up 5 hours later to say that I had not had my confirmation e-mail, was told that the booking had not been successful. It transpires that processing the orders must have been taking Aloud ages as,I have just got my confirmation e-mail. I shall go to the mud smattered ball after all!

Boo!
got mine @ 10am online, tried on the phone as well but was permanently engaged.. just had my e-mail to confirm tickets.. v. happy! people already tryin to sell tickets!

janet
tried for 24 hours last year to no avail. Got them this morning two phones and online for two tickets. Really nervous as confirmation has yet to come. Did have difficulty as on screen scrolling to fill in postcode was unusual and we kept getting error message until we solved it i was worried it would prevent others getting tickets as it nearly did us. Very excited my sosns first festival. (20 months).

Paul
so much easier than last year... we had 20 of us together on 2 broadband internet. had them all by 10am. Forget it if you have dial up internet! see you all there!

Ron
Can anyone put my mind at rest? Filled in the booking details on the web, submitted and then nothing...am i out of luck?

patrick
What a sham. in an attempt to weed out touts, the ticketing system is a frustrating exercise. surprisingly enough...not everyone has access to the internet.Look at the failure stories of those that did but still couldnt get tickets!

Sarah
Got onto aloud at 9 this morning, managed to get to the booking page.....then all the power went out in our road!! Started on the phone with no joy. By the time it came back on all tickets sold.

olly clarke
I got my ticket after five minutes online for three years running; some people are just born lucky!!!!

Richard Fender
Like Anthony Lee my daughter got through to ticket page twice entered all details but system would still not submit details.Broadband obviously made the difference to those who were successful.

Tom Fuller
Tried to get two tickets. Went on line at 8.55am with two computers. Phoning using two phones at the same time. I got onto the booking form with one computer at 9:20am, completed all the details correctly. But when I clicked the button to order the tickets, nothing happened and I was informed that I had entered the wrong web address. Remained on the booking form trying to send for two hours and then site changed to inform me that all the allocation had gone.On the other computer I did not get to the booking form - 'busy, try again later. By telephone was toild be BT that all line are busy, the same when I tried to ring another 0870 number later in the day.

Adam
I tried for over an hour on the phone until a friend called saying he got through but was declined as he was £13 short....13 i ask you so I transfered money to his account and then tried on-line, managed to get the web confirmation about 10 minutes after trying...think I put "" instead of 22 on my postcode, so until I get my email confirmation I will be continously smoking.......fingers crossed for all of you too, and for the lucky ones, have a fantastic time

jamie jamal
booked 2 weeks off work, took sunday 3rd off aswell. saved up and even had a early night lastnight but no joy. it's the most depressing feeling in the world. really fed up

a
Strange that all my friends down south gots tickets and us north of the border didn't! anyway off to sunny herefordshire to the big chill. Bring it on!

Andrew Strong
Same old story for me I'm afraid - got through twice to booking form and when all details in just got 'Error on Page' message. No clue as to what error was and how to change it so no choice but to try again. Don't get me wrong, I know demand far exceeds supply but it is grossly unfair when a technical glitch is the reason for not obtaining tickets. Not going to bother with it anymore and I will try to avoid using aloud.com (if that's possible of course)

Christine Mason, London
Appeared to book tickets at 9:45 but still haven't received promised E-mail confirmation - almost 6 hours later! Is this another Glastonbury booking fiasco?

nicole berrisford
for the 2 year runnung i have booked online dead on the ticket opening time and i still have not managed to secure any tickets fedup

Chris- Shmatte
Easiest thing ive ever done. Marked improvement on last year as instead of being up from 8pm til 4am trying to get one for 2004 i only needed to spend 15mins on it this year! Brian Wilson!!!!!!

Lucy, Ilkeston, derbyshire
Managed to get two tix at 9.08hrs but think 2mb boradband connection helped... So happy I can't control myself!!!

Robert Henderson
i got my tickets at 9.02am. lucky ey? roll on june

Elaine Joyce
I'm so upset!I can't believe it,I was waiting in line on the over seas phoneline and when I got through i was told that I would be unable to purchase a ticket as they were not processing overseas purchases by phone,by the time I logged on to the internet i was obviously too late.I'm so dissapointed because I don't know whay else i could have done to get a ticket,I think it was pretty lousy on behalf of the glastonbury orgainizers.

Dee
After two hours and they are all sold?????? Bogus!

Anthony Lee
Gutted! Got through to the ticket sales page twice! But there was an "error" on the page each time not allowing me to submit my details! Anyone else have this problem?

Dylan Wilson
I got onto the booking form at 9:04am, completed all card number, ticket holder names and addresses CORRECTLY. When I clicked the button to order the tickets, nothing happened. A friend managed to get beyond that stage an hour after me which took him to a page advising of a booking reference and telling him to expect a confirmation email. Now the tickets are sold out and it looks like my card, ticket-holder and delivery details made it to the ticket agency's server but appeared to hang in limbo. I don't know whether we have been successful or not but if not, my wife and I feel very hard done by when you consider we were just one-click away from being able to relax less than 5 minutes after tickets went on sale. I have saved screen dumps from my PC to confirm this because if we don't get tickets, I see it as being due to their systems rather than our place in the queue

Kate
YAY!! I HAVE MA TICKETS BOOKED!!

yolanda
We tried solidly on two computers and three phones from 9am - my brother got through at 10.45 at 10.47 I got thru to a Sold Out sign. They don't want to go without us and no one seems to be able to to tell us how to deal with this situation. Was it too much to raise the limit to 4 per person, which seems to make more sense. Now we will waste more people's time trying to sort this out.

tom
its great to see they sorted out the website, was very suprised to have booked my tickets within half an hour. i hope it rains again because last year was funny.

CHRIS
TERRIBLE TRIED SOLIDLY FOR HOURS FINALLY GOT THREW AND THEY WERE SOLD OUT I LIVE IN GLASTONBURY AND AM VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT IT'S RIGHT ON MY DOORSTEP AND I AM UNABLE TO GO

Happy 2005 Festival!! Me and my friends have secured tickets for the 2005 festival. We did it online and it was very quick and straightforward. Thank you to Michael Eavis for updating the system and ensuring we can buy tickets first-hand instead of unscrupulous dealers getting their hands on them all and charging outrageous amounts. paul
Well, better than last year, signed on to the web sight at 9am, filled in the forms, tickets at 9:05 See you all there.

Lucie
Got tickets in 8 minutes!! Brilliant!

Wendy Clark-Ward
We managed to buy 5 tickets and a caravan pass this morning, but it took three people trying constantly online and on the telephone number to get through and we were trying since 8.30 this morning and succeeded around 10am. The tel no was constantly engaged. In the end our tickets were ordered through the website, the site is very slow but keep trying. Good luck everyone and see you at Glasto this year!! I'm looking forward to seeing Kylie :o)

I got up at half eight, got in front my computer, pulled up my clock and when it hit nine I refreshed solidly for fifty minutes! At 9:50 I finally got my tickets! Dont give up people, keep on trying even when it looks like you will never get through, eventually you will.

becky
its so busy! got to the details page then crashed getting to the confirmation.

Maud
I have actually suffered a serious mental breakdown as a result of trying to get a Glastonbury ticket. My advice to others is don't bother, it's not worth it especially when you consider this year's line up.

Emma
aargh. not again

Richard Sweeney
It's now 9.30 I got onto aloud.com no problems, but I can't get onto the booking site at all. Didn't they think that they would get this much demand? I'm also using a browser which will automaticaly reload a webpage for me and still no luck. I'll keep you posted.

Eliot
Already it's horrendous! I don't know what's happening. I can't speak to anyone and only half an hour in.

Mike Smith
usual ticket messup - phones busy and site crashed repeatedly - thank God wont be a Glastonbury 2006

Kcoo
Kylie is not Glastonbury material. I think Glastonbury has lost the true alternative vibe it had going on and has become more commercial. A big shame!!! WELL SAID! chillies would be amazing!
