York Minster

We walked from the hotel through Mickels Gate, then over the River Ouse by bridge. We came to a market square then walked through The Shambles, which is full of old shops and buildings. I looked up above the roofs for the Bell Tower of the Minster.

When we got there, we paid our money to get in to the Minster and started to look around. We took photos of one of the alters and windows, we then visited the gift shop. We bought souvenirs before going off to lunch.

We took a photo of the Statue of Constantine and looked at more shops and bought more gifts.

It started to rain so we went back to the hotel. Later we had our evening meal then we packed our cases before relaxing and watching TV.

I hope to go back to York some day.
