The day I remember the most

Shania Walls

I pick the day I broke my ankle.

It was what I thought was a normal day. But it was not. We had maths and break like normal. That was not too bad. Then I got asked to put a book away. Two boys in my class were being silly and one boy knocked me over and I landed on my ankle. My teacher Miss Kerr sent me to the office. My friend Robyn helped me to the office. I was at the office for 15 mins then dad came and took me home because it was so sore (but the school did not know I had broken my ankle).

My mum took me to the hospital because my dad had to take my sister Imogen to the dentist that day. I was there for 5 to 6 hours. They x-rayed my foot and put a cast on it then my mum phoned the school to let them know I had broken my ankle. They said thank you to my mum for letting them know because they had lots of paper work to do because I had broken my ankle.
