A Great Beach Trip

Andrew and Rebecca and I went to Yellow Craig play park and beach. We got out of the car and we took our daughter Rebecca, who is only 19months, to the play park. We then took her to the seaside where she stood still and stared and cried, she took one step on the sand and decided to walk.

After walking on the beach Rebecca started to kick the sand. Andrew put the picnic rug on the beach then he sat down and she buried Andrews legs and feet. She must have thought to herself that she was fed up with that game because she then took my hand and we ran together to the water and she had a lot of fun playing splash. She then sat in the water and every time a wave came up she got excited, wondering why the waves kept going back and forward. It was fun to watch the expression on her face.

We sat back on the picnic rug and Andrew and I were talking about how good she was in the sand and water and how much she would enjoy our holiday later in the year. Then Rebecca fell asleep in Andrews arms and we heeded back to the car. I put Rebecca in her car seat, she smiled when she was sleeping, its a memory Andrew and I will never forget. ... (continues)
