A day I will always remember
Benjy Stewart
Essays; the thing that everybody hates about English. But this one sounds fun. And it will be on the internet and could be read out by a celebrity on the radio. So here we go. I'm going to write about My Favourite day. A day that will be in my mind for a long time. This day was the 4th of march 1998. The day my little brother was born. But actually this essay has nothing really to do with him, because I hate him. Kidding.
So in the morning my dad took me my two sisters and my other brother out to Glasgow zoo and Celtic Park. We Started of at Celtic's training ground we watched them train for a while and we got to meet them. I got my photo took with my heroes Henrik Larsson, Harold Bratback, Paul Lambert and i also met Tommy Burns. We left Celtic park early with me and my siblings thinking we were going home. But my sister was getting suspicious wondering were we were going because we stopped somewhere we hadn't been before. I can't really remember much because I was only four but l'd heard the stories. The zoo was great the best part would definitely be the lions. It was amazing, the lion keeper was feeding them. He gave them a massive bit of meat which was finished in minutes. We didn't get to see the penguins which my dad said I took a fit over and started crying which is all right I had an excuse i was only four. When we arrived home my dad got a phone call from the hospital. They wanted my dad to go up because my mum had my little brother. My dad dropped us of at my grans were we got a chippy. After an hour my dad said he was going to come for us. We Went up to the hospital were my dad was waiting outside my mums room. We went in to see John the name my mum gave him because it was my grandpa's name and he had just died. We went into the room to see John. Now this bit I can't remember but again I'm just going by the stories. We got photos took again and I fell asleep.
There is a lot of days I could have picked during my life. But I think this one was the best. Choosing a day was difficult I could have wrote about the day that I got scouted for Celtic when I scored one and made one for my football team which isn't bad for a right back. But overall I think to write about this day in March was a great idea. Just if life was like that everyday.
