Birmingham Vs Manchester United
Mathew James Lenny Hathaway
In October when my family and myself were in Birmingham we got a surprise when we were told that we were going to a football match. This would be the second match I have seen at the actual stadium. When we got to St Andrews Park (Birmingham City's stadium) we went straight in. We sat in the sixth row from the front so we had a pretty good view of the match. The match was Birmingham City VS Manchester United. Birmingham were at one end training and Manchester were at the other side training. The match started around 2:00 PM and at the start it was really even.
Manchester kicked off. Manchester did better shots than Birmingham by miles. Most of the shots taken by Manchester were put out for a corner. Birmingham had some really good shots but most of the time it went straight to the goalies hands. There was the occassional corner for Birmingham anyway. At Half time it was still no goals scored by Manchester United and still no goals scored by Birmingham City. At Half time we got a few snacks for the rest of the game We saw a person doing keepie-Uppies for half time.
When the Second half started it was Birmingham who kicked off. Birmingham had a lot of better shots than Manchester in the second half. Most of the shots hit the goalies fingertips and hit the post or went out for a corner. Manchester had a lot of good shots but basically every shot went into the goalies hands. After all 90 minutes the game ended with no goals scored which was a really good game which I thought would have at least 3 goals in the game. After the game ended my family and myself went to the Birmingham City souvenir shop. I got 2 badges and a toy car.
