Days Like This

It was the 8th of July 2004 and very hot. We all went to Italy for my sister, Courtney's birthday. We all went for a day out in a speed boat: there was me, my sister and brother Kiera and my mum and dad. It was 1 o'clock which meant lunch.

The boat stopped in the middle of Lake Garda and my dad decided to have a swim. He jumped in off the front of the boat and swam off. I asked my mum if I could do that as well and she let me. I went onto the front of the boat and started to slide off because I was scared to jump, I was nearly off and my bikini bottoms got hooked onto a hook and I was hanging off the boat for five minutes. In the five minutes my sister, mum and brother were all laughing on the boat whilst my dad was in the water trying to push me back on the boat. Then mum tried lifting me on but she was laughing too much.

I was stuck for a while. I was laughing but at the same time it was really sore. Then my brother came and flicked my bikini bottoms of the hook and I went belly flopping into the lake. This was a funny and very sore memory I won't forget.
