Add an adder

The British Herpetological Society is starting a campaign asking people to tell them when they see adders. Many adders are killed by people who know they are poisonous - but think, wrongly, that they are aggressive. Visit www.adder.org.uk to learn more.

In Britain there have been only 14 known fatalities from an adder bite since 1876; the last a five-year-old child in 1975.
