Ethiopia's Tigray crisis: Rebels vow to fight on until blockade ends
The war between federal forces and the Tigray rebels is nearly nine months old.
The commander of the rebel group in Ethiopia's northern region of Tigray has told the BBC they will continue fighting until their conditions for a ceasefire are met.
Zambia's President Edgar Lungu has ordered the deployment of the military to curb electoral violence ahead of the 12 August general elections amid criticism by the opposition and other groups.
On Monday, Tanzania started rolling out its official vaccination program across several hospitals in the country.
