Sierra Leone: Covid-19 vaccine roll out begins

Sierra Leone is amongst a number of African countries who have signed up for the global Covax programme which aims to provide vaccines to poorer countries.

Three days of mourning begin in Equatorial Guinea for over 100 people killed in a series of powerful explosions in the main city of Bata last weekend.

And, in South Africa, police use rubber bullets to disperse university students who have been protesting about financial policies.
