Malian President pleads with citizens to back army against jihadists
Calls for international solidarity
The president of Mali has urged people to unite behind the country's army and not to undermine its morale following the jihadist attacks that have killed around 50 soldiers over the last week.
South Africans have been offered free train rides to welcome their victorious rugby World Cup squad at the OR Tambo International Airport on Tuesday in the country's largest city Johannesburg.
