Bromsgrove's 'hero cop'

PC Rebecca Edwards dragged an unconscious woman from an overturned car, then revived her. A doctor said 'if you hadn't cut her out, she would have died'.

The officer has worked for 20 years at West Mercia Police and was on patrol with a colleague when they received an automatic SOS alert from a vehicle involved in the collision.

PC Edwards has been awarded a Royal Humane Society Resuscitation Certificate after her actions at the scene of the crash between Ombersley and Droitwich, in January
