Inside the Lower Thames Crossing project

The first physical signs of the new £10.6bn Lower Thames Crossing are beginning to appear across Essex and Kent, as construction of the 14.5-mile (23km) road linking Tilbury in Essex and Gravesend in Kent takes shape.

The BBC has been given an exclusive look behind the scenes of the Thames Crossing project that once finished, will be the longest road tunnel in the UK.
