New phase in Leicester Market revamp
New paving flagstones are going down for the newly approved 72 moveable stalls which will inhabit the space of the new Leicester Market. Officials say they want flexibility to be able to alter the layout in the future.
The council says it acknowledged the tough trading conditions for the relocated traders who operate out of Green Dragon Square and has waived stall holders' rents until the end of the year at a cost of £150,000.
