A grave dispute

People living near a former burial ground in Shrewsbury are opposing plans to redevelop it. More than 200 people are buried in the grounds of the former Wellspring Apostolic Church on Belle Vue Road, where an application has been made to build eight houses, four garages and a new access road. As well as concerns about the impact on existing graves, campaigners are unhappy about trees being cut down and other issues.
