Wakefield’s superstar studio gains degree powers

Production Park in Wakefield, a rehearsal base for global stars like Beyoncé and Lady Gaga and the filming location for Netflix’s Adolescence, has been granted powers to award its own degrees. The move will allow its Academy of Live Technology to design industry-led courses, helping students gain hands-on experience and faster routes into careers in music, TV and live production.
