FTD Brothers: Home is where the heart is

Thousands came out to support Jordan and Cian Adams, the Worcestershire siblings who ran 32 marathons in 32 days across Ireland, as they made a triumphant return to Astwood Bank, the village they grew up in near Redditch.

At the Josh Baker Oval, the home of their local cricket club, Jordan and Cian were joined by friends and family, old and new, to mark the near-£2million raised for dementia causes after a fundraising challenge that swept hearts and minds around the world.

Jordan carried a fridge whilst running the London Marathon, before joining up with his brother to run a marathon in every county of Ireland. Their mother, Geraldine, was from Ireland, and died in 2016 aged 52, having lived through early-onset dementia. Both brothers carry the same gene.
