Oswestry's Timbersports Champion

A Shropshire woman is preparing for an extreme sports event 8 weeks after giving birth.

Timbersports pushes strength, skill and endurance to the limit, with competitors chopping through large logs using axes, two-metre crosscut saws and high-powered chainsaws.

Justine Ellis from Oswestry discovered the sport in 2022 and will be competing at the Timbersports British Championships in Malvern this month.

BBC Radio Shropshire’s Adam Green has been speaking to her ahead of the competition.
