London's new Banksy sculpture
Banksy's claimed a new sculpture near the mall. So what does it mean?
In this episode of London Latest we're hearing about something that happens every now and then in London - and always generates excitement.
A new Banksy has appeared in the capital.
This time it's a sculpture in central London of a man striding off a plinth with their face smothered by a billowing flag.
The sculpture is on Waterloo Place, just off The Mall, and bears Banksy’s signature. It's also been officially claimed by the artist.
British academic, writer, painter and broadcaster Professor Paul Gough spoke to BBC Radio London's Shay Kaur Grewal and gave his response to the sculpture and what it might represent.
