Refugees, the GAA and ageing: Tommy goes from world affairs to wild Irish life.
Ireland’s not used to being the place people run to, and Tommy starts there—pulling apart immigrants, refugees and the Irish talent for leaving. He storms through the GAA and hurling, takes aim at health care and the indignities of old age, and then goes full natural-history rogue: evolution, giraffes, cows and domestic life—each turn bolder than the last.
