Today's Babies: Health Visitors
The number of health visitors in England has almost halved over the last decade.
Earlier this year, the health and social care committee warned the government will fail to deliver its ambition to give every child the best start in life unless it takes urgent action to rebuild the health visitor workforce.
As part of our project, Today's Babies, we are following three families, from pregnancy right through the first five years of the children’s lives.
Our senior education reporter Vanessa Clarke has been speaking to them about their experience of health visitors.
