Christopher Brett Bailey was born in Canada, and spent much of his childhood in Buffalo, New York. He’s been in London for 20 years and now lives in Lewisham.
Chris is best known for his critically acclaimed solo debut ‘This is How We Die’ - a ranting, absurd beat-poet monologue, which led the Guardian to describe him as ‘a mesmerising, mouthy athlete’.
Over the years he’s also lent his death-black humour to BBC Radio 4 and the National Theatre.
As a musician he makes both ambient music and thrash metal. His latest one-man show, ‘I Saw Satan at the 7–Eleven’ is on at the Soho Theatre.
