Stockton dad takes part in pioneering transplant trial
Darren White from Stockton had a lung transplant in 2024 after being diagnosed with lung fibrosis
While waiting for the procedure he was signed up to the Sentinel programme where patients are given a skin patch from their organ donor which will indicate any potential issues and detect organ rejection faster.
He joined Amy Oakden in the studio.
