Ipswich: City of Culture a step closer

Suffolk's county town has made the long-list and is up against Blackpool, Middlesborough, Milton Keynes, Portsmouth, Sheffield, Swindon, Inverness, and Wrexham.
It means Ipswich gets 60 thousand pounds from the government to help shape the next stage of its bid.
