Manchester Rabbi: 'We can't despair... We can't give up'
In one of his first interviews since the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue attack, Rabbi Daniel Walker says the Jewish community “can’t give up”.
Speaking to Radio 4 Today’s Emma Barnett, Rabbi Walker said he has no “mental space” to think about why the attacker did it.
He also said that a visit from the King earlier this month showed him that “society cares” about the Jewish community.
Two congregants - Adrian Daulby and Melvyn Kravitz – were killed by Jihad Al Shamie, who was later shot dead by police. The inquest into the victims’ deaths begins on 29th October.
