Do you know what an epileptic seizure looks like?
New research from 'Epilepsy Action' have revealed huge gaps in awareness of what seizures look like. More than a third of Brits said they would only recognise a seizure if someone was convulsing on the ground, despite many types being far less obvious. And more than half of Brits fear they wouldn't know what to do if someone nearby suffered an epileptic seizure.
Someone who is urging you to learn what to do to help, is Leicester's very own Sam Bailey. Her 16 year old son has the condition and is raising money and awareness of the condition through a celebrity football match with 'Anstey Nomads' this Sunday afternoon.
