Police Officer reunited with hat after 20 years
Now, it's a mystery that may never be solved - how did a Leicestershire police officer's hat end up in a quarry more than 20 years after it was stolen?
When Police Constable Paul Allen lost his hat during a busy weekend shift in Leicester city centre around 23 years ago, he did not expect to see it again.
Fast forward to earlier this month and, now Superintendent Allen, had a call to say it had been found at a quarry in Ibstock.
He told BBC Leicester's Ady Dayman that he's glad to have it back.
