Award-winning Droitwich film director
Tom Paul Martin has had his work shared by Sam Smith and Sir Paul McCartney. His latest release is the award-winning 'Where Are All The Gay Superheroes?' which is being showcased at the Worcester Film Festival 2024.
The film is descried as an LGBTQIA+ sci-fi crowd-pleaser, laden with special effects whilst challenging conventions, and celebrates diversity in superhero storytelling.
Tom's been holding clatterboards for TV adverts, music videos and online productions for over a decade, and reflects with our reporter Sophie Millward about growing up in his native Worcestershire, and his tips for aspiring filmmakers.
