The final voyage of Captain Matthew Flinders
The remains of Lincolnshire explorer Captain Matthew Flinders have been reburied in his home village of Donington.
Flinders circumnavigated Australia and gave the continent its name. He died in 1814 but the location of his grave in London was lost, until it was rediscovered more than 200 years later during work on the HS2 rail project.
