Successful filmmaker inspires next generation
Amar Hayer from Biggleswade has been passing on his knowledge to students in Hitchin. The 32-year-old taught himself filmmaking skills in his bedroom, then quit his corporate job to set up his own company. As someone from Indian heritage, he’s been showing others at North Hertfordshire College that diverse backgrounds don’t have to be a barrier to creative industries. We spoke to Amar and to business students Daniel Lee and Fatima Belakehal. Photo: Changemaker Studios.
