White elephant sends message on renewed roundabout

Central Bedfordshire Council says the work to introduce two lanes on all approaches and exits allows more vehicles to get through the junction at the same time. Following its opening, someone left a stuffed white elephant on the roundabout, leading people to assume it’s a comment on the project which cost almost £7m.
