Why is bamboo causing problems for homeowners?

You've probably heard of Japanese Knotweed and the problems it can cause for homeowners. Well, there's another problem plant on the scene, which some experts say is even worse…bamboo. Some varieties have 'running roots' which can spread across mass areas. They cannot only be dangerous and damage your property, but cost THOUSANDS to remove.

Gardener Mark Lane meets some of the people who've had their lives blighted by the problem and explains which types of the plant are best to enjoy safely.
